The Story Behind Breastfeeding Balance

Hi, I’m Tina,

My breastfeeding journey began in 2015 with the birth of my first son. After a long labor and an unplanned C-section, I had to learn how to balance postpartum recovery, breastfeeding AND everything else that life had in store for me. It was messy, emotional, exhausting, and overwhelming, but breastfeeding was the most rewarding and amazing gift I gave to myself and my child. With the birth of my second son in 2017, the balance was slightly heavier. It now included breastfeeding my jaundice newborn while recovering from another C-section, all while trying to manage a household with a toddler.

With education {thanks to my prenatal breastfeeding class}, self-confidence, and a good support system I was able to achieve a healthy balance with breastfeeding and everyday life.

Breastfeeding Balance, LLC was launched in the fall of 2022 & is the culmination of my previous professional experience as a pediatric medical assistant (12 years), a certified lactation educator (4 years) and my personal experience as a breastfeeding mother.

I believe that every breastfeeding journey has it’s own balance and I will work with you to achieve your goals {big and small} to find it. Whether you want to breastfeed for a week, a month, a year, or you want to exclusively pump, supplement with formula, do a little mix of everything, or you are still unsure of what your feeding plan will be, I am here to support you every step along the way.

If you are struggling to find your balance or are overwhelmed with the thought of breastfeeding, please contact me, we can work together to achieve your goals!
